Anyway, I forgot to write this sooner, but last week when I was listening to Virgin Radio, they had a self-promo spot, "The songs you grew up with," and one of the song snippets was the "1-2-3-4" from Kiss This Thing Good-bye. Hopefully there are some new "classics" brewing from the boys which will make it into the promos ten years from now. http://www.virginradio.co.uk http://www.ginger.com/core/audio/real/?service=vc (RealPlayer) Kelly Minneapolis ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2001 16:46:00 +0100 From: Hopping James W Subject: OV: Something to do... Just been listening to SOSP. It's my least fave so don't listen to it that much but I had forgotten what a superb song 'What I think she sees' is. I was trying to explain the meaning to my girlfriend but she didn't seem to get it at all. Also heard a song on the radio that got the old foot tapping and would suggest everyone go and get the album. Badly drawn boy. The single is Spitting in the wind, it's the one with Joan Collins in the video. Great stuff. Another aside are there any musical people in around the Surrey/West London area. I play guitar (mainly acoustic) and want people to jam with. I'm not great but can play a bit. I'd been married 10 years, and my daughter was about a year old. And I was quite overwhelmed dealing with 2 children, at a stale point artistically, and mired in a depression (triggered by that post-partum thing) that I nearly didn't get out of. Not a happy year at all, but quite a learning experience. > Lauren Royal ~ http://www.laurenroyal.com > In stores now: AMETHYST...,and IN PRAISE OF YOUNGER MEN Did Libby and Jane co-write this last one, Lori? LOL! I'm sorry, I couldn't resist........
