You can pay by Paypal if you live outside the US. "ALABAMA LIVE" GERMANY 1995 (46m) PRO A+ "ABSOLUT LIVE" GERMANY 1997 (11m) PRO A+ DUTCH TV 1998 (16m) PRO A+ You can order them individually or all on one tape. My video came this morning, and it's great. It's been such a long time since I've seen any new Del Amitri footage. Anyway, I'd recommend this video to all and sundry. You can order it from www.vinylrev.com It's in NTSC format - and luckily most of the newer British videos can play NTSC and PAL, but check before you buy if you live outside the US. Alabama Live is part of a live German TV show concert - with loads of shots of Justin, David and Ash, but not so many of Iain (apart from his forearm - which I don't object to at all - ask any of my friends!!) or Andy. Absolute Live is a great acoustic set and interview. Mark's not in it, but the other four are sitting on stools and play acoustic versions of NWIA, Medicine and Tell Her This, with interviews with Justin and Iain in between the tracks. The Dutch TV show is actually Danish - not that it really matters. It shows some SOSP concert footage, filmed in Copenhagen, and a lovely interview with Iain, interspersed with bits of old videos. Iain has obviously been asked loads of "girly" questions (you only get to see his responses) about whether he owns a kilt and what he wears under it (boxers) and about does he make out to Del Amitri's music (he doesn't but Gil Norton who produced CE told him that if he came home and his wife was playing Jimmy Blue it meant she wanted sex). He also talks about wanting to be a punk band but neither of them had the right voice. When asked to describe Justin's voice he was flummoxed, but eventually described it as "sweet". There were loads of lovely close ups - and some of Iain's eyes. Karen - you'd appreciate this! Ooh!! I think I'm going to have to lie down for a while to get my blood pressure down!! For those interested, the "Alabama Live" performance is the source for the Swimming With Your Boots On bootleg. So, this performance fades out in the middle of Always The Last To Know, just like on the cd. It's a rather well done live concert video. Lots of colo(u)r, smoke, and audience shots. - - Darren ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2001 15:43:25 -0000 From: Hopping James W Subject: OV: RE: Dels videos Hello all. I was going through some back issues of my guitar magazine last night when I came across a Dels interview from 1998. I know it is a bit old but if people are interested I can scan it in and send it off.
