Hi all,

If anyone is having a problem viewing the diary entries, it's
because there is a problem with certain browsers
understanding the link as it is automatically generated. I will
put a fix in on Monday so you wont get the problem. and
believe it or not it all because of one little character!

In the meantime, you can read it by going to

i hope the links will work from there. This anomily seems to
only affect a few browsers, I tested it on 4 browsers and the
one on my phone was the only one that did it.

Anyway, as an update, I have spent this weekend improving
the diary script and it will now allow the band to upload
photos and short movies. so expect them to start next week
as well. how cool is getting photos direct from the studio and
to the world in minutes. Thank god Justin got over his
technophobia and bought a digi-cam!

Just a quick reminder if you've not got around to it, that the
BBC Radio 2 are running a poll to find the Voices of the 20th Century in
popular music.  Over the Easter weekend, Paul Gambaccini will be presenting
a Radio 2 programme highlighting the top 100 Voices of the Century.  And it
would be great if we could get Justin in there somewhere.  A couple of other
lists I'm on are already block voting for their favourite singer - so let's
show them what we can do.  It doesn't matter if you don't live in Britain,
you can still place your vote at:

And if you know any friends who won't mind you using their email addresses -
please get their votes in too.  I've not had any comeback yet and I've been
voting my socks off on other people's behalf.

Thanks for all the time & effort you're putting into this.  I couldn't
get to the diary last week but thanks to a compassionate fellow Dels fan
I got to read the transcription.  What a kick!  I like the way Iain
writes.

WHEEEE!  And we just got ADSL on this computer so viewing videos & such
is sooo much faster!  Bring it on, babe, I'm ready and waiting...

home-grown players.
But only now, 34 years after Celtic's most famous triumph, is Billy McNeill
leading his 1967 team-mates to true footballing immortality. The Lisbon
Lions are recording a pop song.
The aging team, who still gather regularly to celebrate their 2-1 win over
Inter Milan in the Portugese capital, are to join a host of stars in the
next fortnight to start recording 'The Best Day of Our Lives' - a belated
tribute to their unique triumph.
They are planning to recruit Celtic fans Rod Stewart and Jim Kerr of Simple
Minds to join them in the studio, along with Del Amitri and Texas. Liam and
Noel Gallagher, who are regular visitirs to Celtic Park when they are not
following thir beloved Manchester City, have also been approached by the
song's writer John McLaughlin - a man whose repertoire has included hits for
teen pop sensation Billie Piper among others.......
McLaughlin is confident that he can take 'The Best Day of Our Lives' to the
top of the charts with the help of a few of Celtic's musical fans.

Adams? Be still my beating heart! (Though we did get a picture of Justin to

Hmm this sounds, um, "interesting" - but if they are thinking of recording
it any time soon they'll be out of luck as far as the Dels are concerned -
unless they do it in the US and send the tape over.  I just have pictures in
my mind of a sort of Band Aid collaboration, with all of them in the studio.

I wonder if Rod The Mod ever heard the Dels version of Cindy Incidentally?
One of my favourite songs by the Rod and the Faces I have to admit.
