Just a short example to show you how frustrating life has been as of lately! Beginning of the year I went into a record store here in Germany to see if I could order some older stuff whilst waiting for the new album and the sales person actually asked the following question: "By the way, WERE they an American or a German band?" ... So this may be unusual, but I really could do with some help here. First of all, is there a way that people like me - German, no material on offer, no CD burner - can earn their way into whatever you are planning to organize? And secondly is there anybody outthere in the UK who happens to know anything about a placement (at least 18 weeks between March and October) for a German translation student (technology, English, Italian)with newly acquired skills in media work and technical writing? Oh, and can anybody tell me the origin of the word "abseiling" in English and the way it is used? This part I can help out with. The answer is yes. There will be a way to get copies of discs from the Trading Tree. As soon as I can get some things organized, you'll see how to do it. Anyone without burners, or trades will be able to partake. Peace, Darren ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V3 #34 *********************************
