Hey everyone! This morning I heard one of the DJ's on a local station here in Los Angeles (KROQ 106.7FM) saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JUSTIN CURRIE of DEL AMITRI!" WOO-HOO! I was so excited! =) They then mentioned how the Dels are a great band. Too bad they didn't play on of their songs (since their format is more alternative/Limp Bizkit style music now). At one time they were played on that station and that was how I was introduced to the DELS. Just wanted to tell u all. Here's wishing Justin a rockin' b-day...may you party all month long. Kevin, thx for all the new info on the guys. I can't wait for the new music. Luvlots, Cleo in LA Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores. As I sit here watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and I read this post, I'm prompted to think perhaps there IS a Santa Claus.... A Dels reference - AND a positive one - on KROQ? (UK'ers - think of Steve LaMacque voicing a similar sentiment on his show) Perhaps there is hope yet. I'm going to go arrange the holly I just bought, drink some mulled wine and contemplate the mysteries of the Universe... Was Mr. Justin born on the 11th December - - 64??? Hope I did the math correctly. I happen to share the birthdate, although not the year . . . and ALL of you have just made my day. This feels like the day I got to meet Glass Tiger - stop laughing at me! : ) Happy birthday Justin! I know I've really begun to appreciate mine . . . Kristy in Canada P.S. - I got to watch MOST of Charlie's X-mas special . . . but a pirating CANADIAN station cut it off! They were just singing around the righteous tree that Charlie bought - after the kids had rescued it.
