The guy that ended up winning goes to the University a few towns over, which is pretty cool. have a good day, debbie "If those who only see the bad things don't even try to lift their feet out of the muck & mire, they'll never make it to the fields of flowers, dancing or not." - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Fleming" To: "Dels" Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2000 9:55 AM Subject: OV: the eeggs website > > To answer some mails the website is > > www.eeggs.com > > as I have already stated this site is full of really sad facts and trivia > but it is totally fascinating, much like big brother, was it big in the USA > as it was here in the UK?? > > > ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Oct 2000 12:00:08 -0500 From: "debbie" Subject: OV: Re: Re: what's in my CD player GREAT taste! I think you're the only other person I've heard of that knows Ottmar Liebert (other than the people I've subjected to him :-) Maria McKee's awesome, and I'm not just saying that as a fellow Texan, either... and speaking of Texas...great band, too. Has anyone ever noticed a big Texas/Scotland connection? I think there's some sort of mutual admiration (or is that fascination?) between the two places. enjoy the rest of your weekend, debbie "If those who only see the bad things don't even try to lift their feet out of the muck & mire, they'll never make it to the fields of flowers, dancing or not." - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Langlet" To: Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2000 3:43 PM Subject: OV: Re: what's in my CD player > > Hello and Greetings Del Amitri fans, > > Mike here from Vancouver Island, Canada. Working a record shop in a Sydney suburb is a girl called Alena who was the inspiration behind the song Always The last To Know. JC mentions 'a girl' when he talks about the song on that Songwriters Circle programme which was broadcast last year. She was telling me that they dated for a few months and she toured the country with the band when they were out there all those years ago. She also came over to Glasgow to see him before they called it a day. Small world... A high rating would be nice and would get the dels in the top10 of something at last.
