Reid Gardner" Subject: OV: interscope During lunch today, I was watching a bit of VH1 and on 'Back To Back' they featured two videos by the Wallflowers who are also on Interscope as Del Amitri is said to be these days. Now if there's ever been a band that was well marketed, its the Wallflowers. Being Bob Dylan's kid might have helped, but if JD and the band's success is any indication then perhaps this label will handle our boys as well. Might be worth it to get whoever directed the Wallflower videos to do some for Del Amitri too, as the visuals are quite nice and far superior to the latter DA videos I've seen. But then again, while watching the Behind the Music devoted to No Doubt, it seems Interscope was blamed for their initial lack of success by the bandmembers! Sheesh. Guess we'll just have to live in promotional limbo-land for awhile longer. Oh yeah ~ ChrisF, I still can't think of anyone with blue-enough eyes to play Iain in a movie version of their life. But wouldn't John Cusak just be 'poi-fect' as Justin, Gwen?? I don't think they could make him look like our Iain, though. I cannot think who they could possibly get for him. As far as John Cusack....well, I LOVE him, but I don't see him as Justin at all. They could, however, slap some lambchops on Cory Feldman and get him to play Justin, especially during the Waking Hours era. They look so much alike when they do the 90s spikey hair thing like in Cry to Be Found. Leah Can we still be friends? Well, I guess that depends...
