It's a bitter-sweet drama about the relationship between a sports reporter on a Scottish newspaper and the female Management Consultant arriving to 'downsize' it. They were in bed together within 1/2 hour so no messing around! It was crying out for a Dels song either for the title (what a missed opportunity!!) or within the background. All I noticed was the first few bars of a Travis song so there is hope yet. It was actually quite good and has received good reviews so give it a try, five more episodes to go. The NEAR DEATH of Red Dwarf?? So those in the U.K. know, an american T.V. network was airing a show about a . . . well, a sports channel (a la ESPN) where the ratings fall and in the last season the Program Manager falls into bed with the . . . the . . oh, you know how this ends! It sounds like ABC and the BBC are leading parallel lives! The first time I had ever taken a listen, it was unlike anything I had heard before. One of my favorites even today (with too many to choose from!)is Former Owner. ......"Who's first? Obviously not me. She's locked up inside herself and can't let anything free.....the former owner always keeps the key" Justin singing about something vaguely familiar in situation at that time in my life. I love it! Listen to it again, you may get hooked. I unfortunately didn't see them in 86..being in high school and all at that time. Cheers to all. I was terribly confused. Debbie really likes the first album! Loves the songwriting, too!! Sorry Debbie!
