I guess I should say that for the most part, this list helps fill the void of time in between Del Amitri albums. It's nice to know that there is a group of people who are just as big Dels fans as myself and are willing to keep themselves occupied with each other - and share thoughts related to the Dels (and, of course, related to other things as well). To all the people who post regularly, THANK YOU. As a lurker, I wish I had teh time to post more regularly, but since I don't, I appreciate the people who do and keep my mailbox full of interesting thoughts, questions, and ideas. I'm one of those "lurkers", and I for one have enjoyed hearing about BBQues, Hanson, Muppets, et al. (Those who don't do have delete buttons...) As far as cliques go, it's only a clique until you get off you arse and post something yourself. :-) I've never read a posting that ordered someone not to participate until YOURS...and I'm fairly confident that anyone willing to participate would've beeen welcomed at any of the gatherings that have been mentioned. I'm anxiously awaiting the new material like everyone else, and this list helps me to feel like I'm not the only one in the world with impeccable taste! I might not agree with every musical/artistic/political thread I've seen here, but variety is the spice of life, folks!!! So, lighten up your load, don't kiss this thing goodbye, cause it won't make it better when you realise you're now always the last to know. Remember, life is full, so enjoy your friends!!! My view is if you don't like it, LEAVE. There is absolutely no reason to blast someone else's view of what is bad or good. I think that Hanson (or any other band for that matter) is not on my top 1000 list, and a discussion of them does not belong here, but it is not my place or anyone's place to be so cruel. We must stick together and back the one thing we ALL have in common.-the love for the one band in the world that makes us sing, dance and think. I know the list has been slow, but I do enjoy the people I have been able to meet over the past year. And for that, it's worth putting up with a few" silly" emails that may not fit. My delete button works great.. Cheerio all. Noel Milwaukee, Wisconsin (now I've posted twice this year...back to lurking) There was a time that I felt I had a guide But I'm needing a revelation I've been spit out and spit on, cant even keep together my disjointed frustration.
