It's going to be a train station (thanks for the photo, Sue Rowbotham!) with Del Amitri posters replacing the poster-sized adverts on the walls, and so far I've got Justin sitting on a bench and Iain standing next to a pillar with a guitar case in hand; now I need to work the other bandmates in somehow. I remembered last night that somewhere in a video the guys are shown walking down a hall to a radio live broadcast booth, and I think one of them has a guitar case in hand. So maybe I can work from that. Thanks for the reply, Jane. Mercy, but this project is fun!!! So far the 'Hatful of Rain' poster is up and I'm going to try to put the enormous SOSP poster I just received in next... off to the studio! Sort of like the Spice Girls they are a bunch of kids (well now pregnant old divorced ladies blaha) having fun playing rock and roll with some musical talent, some songwriting skill and an ability to surround themselves with the best in the business. And they both have (err had for the Spice Hags) oodles of chemistry. The first Hanson CD is one of the best produced pop albums of all time if you actually take the time to listen to it. There, how was that? :) - -Doug "Doesn't Really Hate Anyone" - --- Kristy McDonald wrote: > Okay, I get that I like POP music and I also get > that a lot of you don't > like what I do, but I'm tired of the Kristy-bashing > in reply to my last post > about Hanson. > > True - they may have backing musiscians that do a > lot of the work and they > may not be as talented as I may think they are, but > I like it. Well we all have different tastes. I'm still searching for the musical genius in "Mmmmbop". I don't know about you guys on the other side of the equator but here they played Hanson to death. Another example of radio stations targetting the pimple generation. Its probably not fair to take it out on Hanson but when radio plays their music ALL THE BLOODY TIME its too much. But then the music industry is about making money not necessarily giving listeners a variety of quality music. So thats why I listen to CDs not the radio- its a sure sign I'm getting old.
