The Case has the original intermedia promotions sticker on it, with the release date stamped on it. But, most importanly the inlay sleeve is signed by Justin *and* Iain. My question is, if it went to online auction how much would it fetch? I remember a while ago there was a person who put there collection up to auction. Was there anything like this there. My other question is how rare (if at all) is the Promo disc? I got it from Emma Scott who is a DJ at Sheffields HallamFM - I did her website for her www.emmascott.co.uk for free and she knew I was a Del fan and sent me this CD which they had kept. So it's about as guaranteed authentic as I think it can be because its come from Intermedia, and a big Radio Station. Any ideas? Any bids even? :o) (Not that I'm a money obsessed Yorkshireman or anything) :o) Bye now, Jason - ------------------------------------------------------------------ www.ostomy.fsnet.co.uk www.lucyweb.co.uk www.emmascott.co.uk www.kristyswanson.co.uk http://go.to/winampwonder - ------------------------------------------------------------------ Windows has detected your mouse has moved. But, most importanly the inlay sleeve is signed by Justin *and* Iain. > Hi Jason Sorry to disappoint you, but this is a fairly common CD. The lads must have signed a whole pile of them before sending them out to radio stations throughout the UK. I paid £4.50 including postage for mine on eBay a couple of months back. However, eBay is a fickle thing, and if you really want to sell it you may find a couple of new collectors just arrived on the scene who will bid against eachother and push the price up. But it's really only the pre-Waking Hours stuff, like flexidiscs or the Family Album (which were originally given away free!) that go for megabucks. Although things like NEH and Jimmy Blue CD's are going for £20 or more these days (the vinyl is pretty common and most people aren't interested so you can pick them up for a song). Justin and Iain are pretty approachable people, and not surrounded security guards - so there is a lot of signed stuff out there. Unfortunately for you CTBF wasn't exactly their best known song and the market is pretty flooded with this and DCHTS as evidenced on Netsounds. But maybe in 10 years time....... I'd hang on to it for now if I were you. Jane ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V2 #32 *********************************
