You're right, it was the 1970 Grammys (for 1969 work).

Harry Nilsson won best contemporary vocal performance (male) for "Everybody's
Talkin' ", and Joni won best folk performance for "Clouds".

had to check. Nope. No nominations for Ladies, Blue, or For the Roses. I guess

Steve,

Joni was a cat person but then got her first Jack Russell terrier, Coco
in around 2001.B  Coco passed away and now she has another one named
Bella.B  I had a Jack Russell as a teen and they are very hyper and can
be aggressive (but not in a scary way).B  Our Daisy was pretty out of
control - racing around all the time and barking but also sweet as can
be.B
