B 790 Roe Ford Drive on the GPS. B Little Rock to Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta to Greenville. B I love driving. B Crank up the music to stay awake. B Antcipation. B Are we there yet? B I Facebook 90 miles away and Suze sends a warm reply. Trees, trees, and more trees. B Beautiful mountains. B Movin' me down a highway toward Swamp Rabbit Lodge. B I arrive in Greenville as the sun goes down. B Small town feel, mom and pop places. B The word "Clock" all over the businesses, restaurants, little shops. B The GPS says turn right on Roe Ford. I realize how DARK it is and that I've now got to find the address. There it is as I pass it by!!!! The only place it could be. B Off the road slightly, long driveway, mail box with triangular flag-like banner stretching into the darkness, a little light shining, too many cars on the hill for it to be just a residence. JMDL hanging from the wooden deck and a sliding glass door like a light at the end of the tunnel. B I can't get to the door quick enough!!! B I see a few people sitting at the kitchen bar; Bob turns around and exclaims, "Laura!!!" and greets me with a big warm welcoming Bob hug. B HOME!!!!! The place is incredible. B Beautiful!!! B Perfect!!! B Counters filled with CDs. B A Bose bluetooth speaker (same one I have at home!!!). Nice open space with a large kitchen and a little living room all connected. B After the hug, Bob says to me, Laura there's Chuck Mitchell, who was getting something in the kitchen. B He turns around and smiles. B YES!!!! Finally we meet!!! B A big hug!! B He's very precious to me and has been SO nice to me over the years I've known him via email and his album, Dreams and Stories. B I must say, my kids growing up would request this album over Joni's. B They love him!!! B My first impression meeting him in person was wow this guy is in GREAT shape!!!! B Healthy guy!!! B And so sweet!!! Bob shows me down the hall where the rooms are with comfy bunks, each with a white comforter, a big bathroom and then a little bathroom next to a doorway leading to a wooden L shaped staircase down. B At the end of the hall, there are a few wooden steps up to some private rooms. After the tour, I find my bunk and bring in my junk and as I do I'm hearing music coming from down down down the wooden staircase... and I know where I'm going!!! B PAZ!!!! B I weave through the microphones and get a hug from him!!! B The welcome is complete now with hugs from Sue, Richard, Phyllis, Suze, Cindy, and the Dulsons. B I meet Kimberly from California (she's beautiful!!) and Jim (Sue's charming brother) from North Carolina. B Later in the kitchen somebody surprises me with a hug... it's Les!!!! B And I meet Jahida, so sweet so beautiful and so kind!!!! B To be continued... off to work now.
