Day One Thurs: People start arriving. Me and my brother Jim with 3 guitars and a fret less bass. Jim will be referred to for the rest of the weekend as Jaco Hilarious. Then the following people arrived; Suze Cameron from Wisconsin, Laura Stanley from Arkansas, Barbara Ann Little (PA) and Cindy Vickery (NJ), Phyliss Ward (NC), Richard Flynn (GA), Jim L'Hommedieu (OH), and The Chuck Mitchell (IA). Also Kimberly Ford (CA). Song circle lasted till 4:00 am. Les Irvin (CO) and Jahida Esperanza (FL) arrived in the wee hours of Friday morning. Day Two Friday: Margaret, Cindy Vickery's daughter arrived. Friday night was the Swamp Rabbit Lodge performance. Festers performed and then the wonderful Kimberly Ford did an amazing set of Joni songs. After the performance another Song Circle lasted till 3:00 am. Day Three Friday; Laurie Antonioli and five band members arrive in Greenville for a performance at the Bohemian Cafe. Our entire group had a table at seven and the band started at 9:00. All I can say about this astounding performance is that it blew me away and surpassed my high expectations. We went back to the lodge for song circle till 4:00 am. Day Four Sunday: Although we were starting to drag, Sunday was filled with a lengthy afternoon song circle on the porch, and some of the festers had to leave. It's easier to list who was left - me, brother jim, Bob, Paz, les, Jahida, Barbara, Cindy, and Margaret, As I speak, there is a song circle happening (np: Levon). We will all be leaving in the morning. This post doesn't even come close to describing how inspirational, hilariously fun and music filled this weekend was. More will be revealed! I sure wish I could have been there. It's the first fest I've missed in a long time. I also thank you for posting pics and videos on FB. There maybe more pics posted on the JMDL FB group, but I'm not on there anymore. I know Muller put on a fantastic fest, and wish I could have seen Laurie and her band play Love to you all!
