Always wanted to play Big Yellow Taxi the way I heard it and the sheet music was so lame. I had Complete Vol 2 which had a few songs in proper tunings (Peoples Parties and Cold Blue Steel) but that was about it and they were somewhat off. Very grateful to the individuals who tabbed all those songs for the list. Very grateful. Dylans 30th Anniversary concert is I think a monumental concert. For years I wanted a copy of that and my understand was that it all tangled up in legal issues but now its all on youtube. So many great songs and performances, esp, to me, My Back Pages. Another song that gives me complete goose bumps. Dylan himself didn't sound too good night. I see in the paper today there is an interview with Peter Bogdonavich and he mentions making a 4 hour documentary on Tom Petty. Sounds interesting if a little long. I would enjoy about 90 minutes. I have to think Tom Petty is the most played artist on the radio, certainly around here. Covers every major demographic except polka. Interesting to see Chuck Mitchell showing up. He must be a "lurker". Hey Chuck, chime in every once in awhile.JeffNP: Car talk ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 22 Aug 2015 23:32:23 -0400 From: "Pete Christensen" Subject: Joni and therapy This is from a couple of days ago out of Cincinnati: http://wvxu.org/post/possible-therapeutic-benefits-joni-mitchell-music#stream /0 Joni has said that she was fortunate to have an identity crisis early. I thought her crisis was fortunate for me, too, as I stumbled along a much longer time. The essentials in my survival kit were Walt Whitman, John Donne and Joni Mitchell. In the radio program, I liked when a caller got choked up and then quickly recovered her composure. I said, yep.
