Probably what I meant to say is up to and including GFTO, I listened to every album a couple hundred times. After that not so much. I did listen to everything that follows, but for some reason Talk stood out to me then the others. Not saying it was better, but I probably played it more. With today's modern not necessarily better conveniences I'm amble to store many albums on a SD card in my truck. Tales & Relayer are on that SD card and during long drives back home they have a tendency to get played. But then again I saw the ABW&H twice during that tour. Dave, I always felt she was listening to Nursery Cryme and Foxtrot. Along with Gentle Giant and KC. Usually after I hit send there is something I would have changed. Hepburn-Tracy isn't a very good analagous comparison. There is something of a dynamic between Joni and David over the years. He is the first "really famous" person in music that she got to know, although I realized she crossed paths with some other musician/songwriters during the "folk" years. He did of course introduce her to many LA people and produce her first album. Though if he hadn't, certainly somebody else would have, or she'd have done it on her own.Guess Who's Coming to Dinner was just on TCM the other night and I watched it so that's probably where my train of thought was. I feel very sad and slightly pissed at Crosby, but I guess I shouldn't shoot the messenger. I know Crosby has been a good friend and big part of her life and career, but he's really opinionated and a bit of a blabber mouth. Has Larry Klein made any announcements or Kilauren? The remarks by James Taylor and Graham Nash seemed more guarded. Continuing to pray .... Sue Sent from my iPhone > On Jun 27, 2015, at 8:43 AM, "mep@chorus.net" wrote: > > Mary M. The interview is listed as being posted on 6/26/15 (yesterday), so it's one the most recent statements on Joni's health that we have. B Other than that, he didn't say much new factually, which B is likely in keeping with what he knows Joni would want. B What struck me, though, was his clear affection and admiration for her, even after all these years. B That came through loud and clear. > > Mary P. > > P.S.
