I actually spoken with him once as well. He lived overseas but a Five Dollar Phonecard gave us about a half hour conversation. He had told me back then that he was very I'll and I suspect he was certainly expecting to depart this Sphere far earlier then now. What was so cool was that he remembered all these old forgotten Joni Songs and I felt so Privileged when I eventually found recordings of Joni performing them, and was able to again allow Him to hear them once more. I recall how thrilled he was to have the Complete three verse version of "Just Like Me", the enchanting "Moon in the Mirror" and "Strawflower Me" ( which Joni Hardly ever played) As Heaven surely has Open Stages for all the Great Artists still wishing to play, Then I believe Pat will likely be the first to greet Joni whenever her spirit chooses to return home.
