And it sounds as though Leslie Morris is making sure that her recovery proceeds as smoothly as possible. But I have a question for our medical professionals out there. The author states that he was told definitively that Joni "didn't have a stroke." What's the difference between a ruptured brain aneurysm and a hemorrhagic stroke? I thought they were the same thing--and the symptoms sound similar. My thoughts go out to Joni tonight, and to all who are involved in her care. Maybe her most requested at the time, 1966, and yet we have no chords, no melody... all we have left are these beautiful lyrics... a poem by Joni... ghost of a song... Are you ready? Moon In The Mirror by Joni Mitchell Moon in the mirror Won't you stay awhile tonight? All things of beauty Are too soon out of sight I know it's a selfish plea You must light the hearts of more than me There's a girl at her window Now she's trying to catch your eye But oh, pretty stranger You must keep on passing by Moon in the mirror I don't know you Just a reflection Of kisses and whispers and indigo skies Moon in the mirror Look below you Moon's looking back And they're loving and longing and telling no lies Moon in the mirror I will ask you one more time Not for a reason And not for a rhyme But please tell me if you can Have you seen a moonlit man? He's so very like you You could see him from afar Perhaps he's misplaced moonbeam Or a banished star Moon in the mirror He's so like you Light up the room For an hour; a smile or the beat of my heart Oh how my heart tried to fight him Fight against mirrors Of moonlight or lovelight You're lost from the start, From the start. =============================== - -----Original Message----- From: owner-joni@smoe.org [mailto:owner-joni@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Corey Blake Sent: Friday, May 29, 2015 3:17 AM To: ingrid lochrenberg Cc: joni-digest@smoe.org Subject: Re: Pat Boland I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He was always very nice to me on our several interactions. A true Joni from almost all the way back to the beginning. Not many can say that. Does anyone know his favorite Joni songs or favorite songs in general? I'd love to play them in his honor. - -Corey > On May 28, 2015, at 10:30 PM, ingrid lochrenberg wrote: > > I have a sadness about Pat Boland.
