In a sandwich shop, the singer interpreted BSN as >much is lost >and much is gained >in livin' ev'ry day> Now THIS ONE gets changed a lot, well if you've got well over A THOUSAND versions, there's going to be some differences. I suppose the first version I heard that switched things up was Leonard Nimoy's where he starts out with "swirls and curls of angel hair". I've also heard "whirls and curls", "Whirls and swirls", well you get the idea. The CRAZIEST one is Kathryn Grayson's recording, for the life of me I hear her singing "Oors and Ploors of angel hair", but WTF neither of those are even WORDS! The other line that gets changed is "And if you care, don't let them know" which becomes "don't let it show" in a couple of versions. I won't even mention Billy Squier's cover of River - he starts with "It's comin' on twilight" and goes recklessly astray from there. Happy Weekend Hippies! There's been so much in the media about Morgellon's, Joni's smoking, and even that awful article about her mental health, but nothing about the frequency and often serious injuries from falls for older people. Since Joni was found unconscious, for whatever reason, it's occurred to me that she could have sustained a head injury if she fell. This could cause a serious injury, and, like grand daughter Daisy said, nothing to do with smoking. This happened to a friend of mine who tripped and sustained a head injury causing a long hospital stay and rehabilitation. As Joni suffers from post-polio syndrome, I wonder if this weakens her legs making her susceptible to falls? All speculation I know, and I realize she owes none of us an explanation, but can't help hoping she's ok.
