Its not like when cds came out and people like Aimee Mann started making cds with 17 songs which is way too much, at least for my attention span. If UFG was on Clouds, where would it go? In a way it would fit as the first song as it has sort of the same feel as Tin Angel with the pretty finger picking and melancholyesque quality, but then Tin Angel wouldn't be the first song. I think Clouds is a pretty strong album that flows well. Joni might have put UFG on Blue in place of Little Green if she hadn't written Little Green as it also has the aforementioned melancholyesque quality and pretty finger picking, but it wouldn't make much sense in that in UFG she never goes anywhere and on the rest of the album she's bouncing around all over the place. So there's always a little problem.Jeff ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2015 08:31:33 -0600 From: Michael Paz Subject: Re: Signed print give-aways Dammit. No New Orleans.... So nice to virtually meet some of you! I enjoyed your comments and look forward to our future interactions!! Saving up my money for a new car to listen to some real music (like Joni's) but for now have three kids in college and the last one soon to be joining them. Going to be riding the debtors train till I die.
