I'm not very tech savvy. I think this should be added to the Joni Mitchell.com video listing, but I don't know how to do that either! I don't know what Joni's talking about comparing video to music in time, but its great seeing her pose so cadidly with the photographers. And that great guitar. B Jeff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IPRFFeLBCI I liked it how she explained that to her a minute in video is shorterB than a minute in music :) It's also fantastic that we can now watch the whole video for free on YTB - - - before that, you could only see a snippet on ina.fr where you stillB can buy the same video forB EUR 2.99. moni k. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Dec 2014 06:33:53 -0500 From: Marianne Rizzo Subject: part 2 npr -joni interview Part two was on this morning! you can find it by going to http://www.npr.org/ and typing in joni mitchell ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Dec 2014 12:29:36 -0500 From: Bob.Muller@Fluor.com Subject: Re: Rests between tracks And then there's all those Stevie Wonder & Todd Rundgren albums that have NO rests between songs. I was working with Mark Wilder, he is one of THE top mastering guys in the business (he re-mastered the "Kind of Blue" record by Miles Davis, for instance.) He encouraged me a couple of times, when I wanted to wait one second longer, to go ahead and start a bit sooner just for that reason. We spoke about the "4 second" pause. People now will just hit "next" if that much time passes. Sad, really.
