Other than these, this is definitely her first. And let's not even mention all the single-disc compilations she put out in the last decade or so. At least he does say that she needs to open the vaults and give us stuff we don't already have. The previous box sets are not compilations but original albums and the previous compilations are not multi-disc. :)) moni k. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2014 07:01:35 -0800 From: Shari Subject: Re: Joni Groupie That is the sweetest thing. Somehow the notion that a lot of men would be endlessly pinning for her sort of escaped me. I'm definitely a groupie. As in if there's a chance to be around her, I'd be a part of that group. Here's my take: You are both right. The Geffen box was a "multi-disc compilation box" because it had bonus tracks, but, of course, it was mostly just reissues of complete, original albums. I stand firmly with my initial assertion that it was worthwhile because the remaster of DED was far superior to earlier CDs (and the domestic lp), plus it had an official release of "Speechless", available nowhere else. Since we have to count "hits" and "misses" as separate titles, they do not count as 'multi-disc'. I have ruled on this matter.
