B Happy weekend everyone. I apologize for any typo's but my hands are numb
from the polar vortex temps that are passing through, but I refuse to let that
slow me down. So here's Volume 200 of our Joni Covers series, a bicentennial
of sorts.And this one, like all of them, has some really cool stuff on it.
Like a trio of tunes from a band who call themselves BlueMotelRoom, including
a Talk To Me cover. The only cover of Bad Dreams I'm aware of, and in Polish
no less. Jey Witten sort of makes up his own chords to Black Crow, but it's
really good to me ears. A live version of Perfect Circle's Fiddle and the Drum
interpretation, and a spontaneous street performance by Alex Chilton (Box Tops
and Big Star fame). Don't expect too much from this track but I'm sure you'll
find joyous tidbits throughout.

I loved this article, especially because it was from Cary9s perspective.
It showed to me again how hard it must have been for men to have a long
term relationship with Joni.  When he described her 3going into a trance2
while composing on her dulcimer, it reminded me of how Graham Nash
described her when she was writing on the piano at the Laurel Canyon
house.  It seems to me if you are in a relationship with Joni Mitchell
it9s Joni, you and the Muse, and it9s pretty clear who the dominant being
is in this relationship!!
