I mean it's what was happening. Interesting about the handmade dress. I wouldn't have noticed that. On the subject of Blue! I did take a listen to John Meyer's Queen of California (his dedication to Joni) and I agree, he's a good guitarist and song writer. Although, his line about there being another color for him (like Joni had blue) still irks me. I don't think he understands the pain she went through to make that album. I do think it was mostly a disease led series of emotions, blended with her circumstance of loss and a mixed up identity. But Mr Meyer, comparatively, your color might be the most interesting beige out there but it's still beige. Is that mean? Haha > On Oct 23, 2014, at 10:04, "Susan E. JeffB Hi Jeff, I interpret No Apologies as being a dissection of masculinity, or masculinity gone wrong - military brutality, bullying in personal relationships (with what looks like a dig at Jackson Brown, again...), and violation of the planet (and its moon). A kind of sequel to Not To Blame. So I can see why it might be included in an exploration of love and relationships. That said, and without wanting to spoil anyone's enjoyment of the new set (so if you're excited by the Quartet please stop reading now!), to me the new release is the most uninteresting Joni event ever, and depressing in its lack of musical creativity (I like the paintings). As already remarked on the list, we can all compile our own re-sequencing of Joni material as we see fit. I'm not against the principle of re-releases - I enjoyed and still love Songs of a Prairie Girl - but come on, enough is enough. Seems to me Joni has too much time on her hands... :)Cheers to you allMichel ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 Oct 2014 17:04:16 +0000 From: "Susan E.
