Thank you for the support, Anita Avocado!! I suppose the avocados and bananas carry a stamp of approval. I mistakenly thought you had taken the name Pet A Banana and my initial response was why not pick a different fruit to pet and love? However, I realised later that I had misread your name change email and you had not, in fact, gone Bananas! :~)) Welcome back, Ingrid,Anita Avocado (thinking of Guacamole) On 8 August 2014 12:22, ingrid lochrenberg wrote: Alas, I'm back at my boring old name partly to appease Marianne. Do you think it was the same ferry? The ferry was so merry with all those sweet Canadians. I'm there again rockin on the gentle rolling waves. O'Canada! I call shotgun again! And this time I'm staying for some Seattle's Best on the rebound. BTW, did hell freeze over, or did you and/or Pearl finally smoke it? Ya'll are so not friend's of Bill like I am. See who's still thinking about it? The one who loves you... At first I was shocked ... then I was mesmerized, and now I'm enthralled. I have to say I felt like a rube at first because I wasn't getting it ... but it's a challenge and a joy to listen to this music. I blame my own blind immersion in Joni's music. I found myself eventually listening to different levels, the voice first, then the drums, then the horns. I agree with the reviewer that there are sections where the drumming excels, kudos to Mr. Lewis. Plus I've never read such amazingly well written reviews in my life. Laurie, you are not only blessed with amazing talent, and surrounded by amazing musicians, but your reviewers also have an excellent handle on the English language. I guess jazz raises the playing field on all levels!! I know it's definitely raised mine! Right now my favorite tracks are Eastern Rain and Woman of Heart and Mind. Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire is phenomenal, too. What a great achiev! > ement. First, is the 1983 Verona concert, sometimes called Dreams Are Shivering Down My Spine. A second that I've found on a list randomly posted online is called Lights Out in Georgia and has a song with the same title as the first track. Any help with either or both (to make an accidental but appropriate nod to a Phoebe Snow tune....) would be most appreciated.
