Why stick to a three score years and ten vision ...I do not have that book but am going to try to learn all Joni's songs now...all of them, as I just keep playing 3 songs over and over again .......Song to a Seagull, Woman of Heart and Mind, and Why Worry (Mark Knopffler/Dire Straits). ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Jul 2014 09:14:26 -0500 From: SusanBTaylorBand Subject: Re: JMDL Digest V2014 #889 Hi Nina, what songs are you working on? Laura, I didn't appreciate that Rusty Young meant the new Joni complete Songbook, thinking you/him meant it was a CD. Ironically I have a copy of Complete so far, but haven't got around to trying any tabs yet, despite borrowing another 6 string acoustic, for the non standard tunings. Buying a pig in a poke (Old English for bag or sack) means being conned as more often than not the "pig" was a cat or a puppy. As Rusty Young was in Poco I substituted Poco for poke, for comic effect.
