I'm now less interested in a straightforward biography and more interested in getting a sense of the artist. The longitudinal element is very appealing. I have not pre-ordered anything for years. Being a friend of Joni's, the author would be unlikely to be sensationalist. Really, the music speaks for itself. A good book would be welcome.
