One last season, and I'm starting to lose hope that we will hear Joni's sweet voice on Mad Men, considering that Both Sides Now already featured prominently. I don't think any other "hits" would be used. Matt Weiner loves Rainy Night House. He said it is "so evocative of privacy and dealing with tragedy and also two people trying to be close to each other" which could fit. We haven't left the 60s yet, so LOC may be off the table. Any other fan musings? I think Sally might end up at Woodstock.....thus opening the door for a JM rendition...though her rendition might be more somber than the show calls for. Woodstock may be the only opening I can think of. I was surprised & delighted they used "Clouds" as a closer, even though it wasn't JM's version, it still hit the right note. LOL Lindsay, Jody & I discuss it off list all the time. They should chime in, since they know all the scoop. I did love it when they ended last season with BSN, but even though Weiner loves RNH, I doubt they will do another Joni tune. The show is already in '69 so Woodstock is over. Sally is already growing up and will probably start doing acid, so maybe Led Zepplin might be playing in a near episode.
