I LOVED Chris Garrick/John Etheridge's version of River, so I went to their website and the singer's name is Lianne Carroll. Garrick and Etheridge play violin and guitar. I also loved Ben Artiz's River in Hebrew. It's so cool that we have all this great music archived in one place. Great job! But before I do, here's a BRAND SPANKING NEW collection of Joni covers for everyone. Thanks to Randy & Paul for their help with this one. Some rarities, some UBER-rarities, some lovelies, three non-English tracks (Jimmy's delight!) and an uber-cheese stinketta that I was actually happy to finally get (Relly Coloma). Myers as well, but we only get a week of Spring, then summer approaches. :( Indeed I do love the 3 non-English tracks Mr. Muller, especially Ben Artiz's cover of "River." He has such a lovely voice! You're right on with the cheesy Relly Coloma's BSN on the organ. I didn't know the Philippines had a mall music store. LOL My big surprise was The Saline Fiddlers. I thought jeesh, another bunch of kids doing a Joni song. These kids were GREAT fiddling along to BYT, and the guy who sang was wonderful. I'd love to hear this group live! My favorite was Skylar Grey's "All I Want." Such a beautiful voice, and really nailed the song. Her name is really Holly Brook, but she changed it to Skylar after her debut album. Great name! Thanks as always Bob! Go run in your stockings now :) Jimmy In a message dated 3/22/2014 10:19:18 AM Eastern Daylight Time, scjoniguy@yahoo.com writes: > It's a beautiful spring day here in Greenville, can't wait to wreck my > stockings on a long run. Lisa Simpson sang Carole King's Jazzman in an early episode, so it's not completely outside the realm of possibility.
