And she dosen't have to. There was the Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, everyone know Joni's thing about Miles Davis. That apparently she always wanted to work with him, but he was "inaccessable" and that when Miles Davis died, the report was that his son said he was listening to Joni's albumn's all the time before he died, even Dog Eat Dog and Taming the Tiger. I was reading Linda Rondstadt's autobiography, Willie Nelson's latest "Roll me up and Smoke me when I'm Dead" and watching the superbowl at the same time. Joni wants her poetry and thought to be preserved more than anything. This latest book of her guitar tunings and songs, she has mixed feelings about. It's not really healthy to get too obsessed with Joni Mitchell. What would happen if she got hit by a car or a bus crossing Sunset Blvd.? Would the whole world end? What would happen to her "still working on it" autobiography? Does David Geffen have the rights to it? I would like to see Joni Mitchell's work preserved.
