I do see some Jungle Line, some Dont Interrupt the Sorrow, but the travel images and North American icons like the eagle seem to evoke Hejira, so maybe the artwork was a composite of images from several albums and wasnt made until 76. The mermaid has me wondering, I must say. What size were they, Dave? How lucky you are to have seen those. I know that many artists design jewelry to commemorate records they've made and they gift it to the musicians that work with them (Stevie Nicks comes to mind immediately). It's a perfect fit for Joni to do that, of course although I had never heard that she did. Wonderful of you to share that! I always flirted with getting a tatoo of a diamond snake around my arm. SFS is one of my faves. If I wasn't such a wimp I might have done it.. Thats why I think she had an arm bracelet made by the same craftswoman with the diamond snake and the apple a year later. On Feb 13, 2014, at 8:13 AM, Susan E. Max Bennett showed us the medallion she designed and had fashioned, and gave as gifts to her L.A Express members. It was an elaborate two-sided design with iconography from the songs of The Hissing of Summer Lawns.
