I was invited to the studio to meet Larry, since I had always loved his work. Larry sat in the engineer's booth and listened to Bob's track, then he plugged in and started playing, not even moving to the studio. I think he did one or two takes and that was it. It was quite a thrill to be sitting a few feet away and watching his hands move around the neck of the guitar.
