And those are not typical chord changes! LC is THE man for finding the perfect thing to play on all his sessions. What a killer ear! Surely no one is tastier on those 70s LA session albums. I mean... Aja, The Royal Scam, C&S, THOSL, Hejira, DJRD, come on. On Feb 11, 2014, at 7:28 PM, Les Irvin wrote: > "bThe sessions [for Hejira] were done one person at a time. Joni was lip synching to pre-recorded performances in those videos. I wonder if those still exist and what kind of quality the recordings would have been when they were made? Of course, she was also recorded doing 'The Circle Game' and 'Urge For Going' for 'Mon Pays, Mes Chanson', a couple of years before her first album was released on the Reprise label. http://dangerousminds.net/comments/stunning_color_footage_of_a_young_joni_mitchell_1966 Mark in Seattle ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 Feb 2014 21:00:46 -0800 From: "Mark" Subject: Re: Mon pays, Mes Chansons Oops!
