Angela, Music is so personal, my best advice is to talk with a loved one of the client. They may well know which of Joni's songs was most meaningful to the person who has died. Also of course the tone of the occasion would enter into the picture (some memorials are more somber, some more celebratory). There have been a lot of good suggestions given already.
