As you know, this was a from a performance at the Sunset Club in Paris accompanied by her husband Alex on electric guitar. I remember a few people commented on that book when it came out, I was very excited when I heard about it, since I'm a big Neil fan (he's second only to Joni in my list) and love autobiographies of all kinds. but I must say it's not the best autobiography ever written... it not so very well written, not always coherent, and simply boring in some of the chapters (to me at least), but I did enjoy parts of it. I am about a third of the way through Waging Heavy Peace, and it is slow going because, as Carmel said, it is badly written and organized even worse. I'm not reading it for Joni content, but am hoping to find some insight into what made him who he is, not merely a semi-chronological account of his upbringing and early years as a musician and songwriter.
