On NBC they said that the Beatles' handlers have released lots of stuff to iTunes that hasn't been available before. Apparently, Apple owns lots of recordings and in order to renew their copyright, they have to release it. Apple doesn't want it sold by bootleggers so they engineered this semi-official release. I haven't been over to iTunes to check it out. Maybe I will get to it during the Holidays. Randy, do you know about this? This is mostly familiar and all rejected material, clearly for diehards only. I 'm not sure Joni (or anyone else) has the market to do anything quite this in depth, but some material from the vaults would do fine, I'm sure. The "Mingus" outtakes remain my holy grail of Joni tapes. Michael F. Sent from my iPhone > On Dec 25, 2013, at 11:12 AM, "Jim L'Hommedieu" wrote: > > I think the Beatles too.
