Therefore, I hereby state that I hope Joni dies sooner than later, for she ruined a huge piece of music history and the biggest piece of electric bass history yet. She ruined the great Jaco Pastorius. Unrelated to Joni, but to illness were Christopher Hitchens' last essays knowing he was dying of cancer. His writing was never clearer, crisply & poignant at the same time.
