Similarly, I wasn't as impressed with "Will you take me as I am" because many of the facts have been written about before and I felt it was too "wordy" and drawn out (too analytical) often going off on tangents. Maybe I just don't like the author's style. I DID love the "Woman of heart & mind" DVD. Ultimately, of course, if someone is really a fan and looking for the best books on Joni, they'll have to go through some and decide for him/herself.
