Does anyone have a digital copy of the liner notes for the Starbucks "Joni Mitchell: Selected Songs" release? This is the CD on which songs were selected for inclusion by friends and fellow musicians who have been influenced by her. Thanks in advance! And Graham was raised in Britain, where women were not yet as liberated as Joni was. But walking away would have been seen by her, I suspect, as her get away with it and encouraged even more bratty behavior. I am not saying the spanking was the best response, but considering the options at the time, I certainly wasn't shocked and am surprised anyone was.
