STAS, Clouds, LOTC, Blue, FTR, MOA, HOSL, Hejira, DJRD, Mingus, S&L, DED (an old girlfriend long ago absconded with WTRF) ... $1 a disc ... no takers. Sad for the non-buyers, but fine for me as I wasn't able to sell the Marantz turntable, either. And I was selling mine for $1 per disc? Hmph. (Mine aren't mind, although the vinyl is in great shape.) I downloaded it last night. Although I have a 20Mbps connection, it took 8 hours. It's a big file but it's worth it. I'm reposting the entire offer. JONI MITCHELL REPRISE MUSIC SHOW Wells Fargo Theater Autry Museum of Western Heritage Los Angeles, Ca. Jan. 26, 1995 01. Refuge Of The Road 02. Sex Kills 03. Moon At The Window 04. Night Ride Home 05. The Crazy Cries Of Love 06. Yvette In English 07. Cherokee Louise 08. Sunny Sunday 09. Hejira 10. Just Like This Train - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 11. Face Lift 12. Song For Sharon Originally scheduled as a 1-hr. Broadcast, the complete program actually ran 1-hr. 13-min. What IS interesting is Joni clearly thought she was off-the-air after JUST LIKE THIS TRAIN, until corrected. Certain FM stations actually broadcast a 1-hour version. Some left the satellite broadcast after 1-hr., others recorded the satellite feed and broadcast the program on Jan. 27th. I included this recording on TapeTree #6, available to JMDL members back in 1998. It was an Air-Check (Off-Air) recording from a broadcast by KCSA, FM-101.9, Glendale, CA. Shortly after the broadcast, Warner Bros. produced an 'In House' Promo CD. 100 Copies were produced from the Warner Bros. DAT Soundboard recording. These were not widely circulated, and were not available to the public. I rec'd several of these Promo CDs from different contacts at Warner/Reprise. Since it's a Direct Dub, from the Soundboard DAT recording, there's no FM compression. Many FM stations use extreme audio compression to keep the sound above the background noise for "distant" listeners, at the expense of degrading the sound quality. After the broadcast, I rec'd several Air-Check recordings from various collectors around the country. Each sounds different in one way or another. Of course some of this is due to collectors using different FM tuners, as well as each FM station using varying degrees of compression. It's really surprising how much compression some stations employ. - - - - - - - In any event, the Promo CD is the clearest, cleanest, best sounding recording of this concert. Unfortunately the Promo CD did not include FACE LIFT and SONG FOR SHARON. It's the 1-hour version. The Promo CD also included opening and closing comments. Dave Blackburn was kind enough to do a little assembly-editing. FACE LIFT and SONG FOR SHARON were added to the Promo CD version. The DJ Opening Introduction and Closing Comments were also included. - - - - - - - YouSendIt recently changed their name to Hightail.
