"I met a woman she had a mouth like yours" Since the first time I heard the song - 2007, I always assume that woman was the man's mother. But tonight it came to my mind that "the woman" can also be his sister, cousin, or some other girls who happened to have similar shape of mouth. Did Joni ever state who that woman was? Or did Joni just left it without explanation so people can interpret themselves? Who do you assume that woman was? Mother? Sister? Some other girls? It's 1 AM and this silly question won't go. I guess being able to discuss who in the world these people might be and who might related or not, is one the great things about Joni's music.
