The opening part (when you first see her) looks just like the cover of blue (with out the blue). Have a beautiful Friday e v e r y o n e. Marianne From: Vincenzo Mancini Subject: Sisotowbell Lane https://vimeo.com/48649286 Filmed on April 5, 1968. A group of musicians paid tribute to Martin Luther King by having an all-night folk, rock and blues jam session at The New Generation Club in New York. Joni played first followed by Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix. Other musicians who participated were BB King, Al Kooper and Ted Nugent. Never seen this before! Quality is not that good and yet!!! Does anybody have further information? Notes seem to have been taken from the jonimitchell.com chronology section... Are there any further videos? I had my first ever dream featuring Joni. It was quite bizarre. I dreamed that Joni's career had turned bad and she had resorted to becoming a game show host. There was no story to the dream. I just had a vision of Joni, grossly overweight, putting on a fake bubbly smile and hosting a talk show cum game show. She was running into the audience, trying to get them excited about the upcoming segment. She was wearing a horrible kaftan and sandals. Her hair was loosely tied in a bun and she was overly tanned. It was like a cross between Oprah and The Price Is Right. Joni looked so pathetic. > > I don't know where this came from. I hadn't even been thinking of Joni before I went to bed that night. The scene lasted only for a minute and consisted of just Joni running into the audience and back with a big cheesy grin and false enthusiasm, trying to encourage the audience to get excited and she was about to start the next segment and it ended. > > Anyone care to psychoanalyse? > > Mark in Sydney > Mark, do you have any health or aging anxieties ? Are you undergoing a health emergency ? I would worry if Joni herself has this same dream......anxious about being relevant ? She need not worry.
