Paz moves on from the PHJB Happy New Year Gang! After 7 years of service to the PHJB I am moving on. Such extensive travel and hard work and the need for more financial compensation has forced me to re-evaluate my life and therefore will not be traveling with the band anymore (but never say never of course). I have learned so much during my time with them and feel so blessed and thankful to the Jaffe family for trusting me with and caring for some of the most amazing musicians and friends on the planet. What an honor to travel the world with these guys! This past year I even got to sing with the band for the King of Thailand. Imagine that. I will continue to work with them and support them from home for the time being, but am now busy planning my next attack. A few projects that have been looming for quite some time, I am threatening to complete in 2013. Tomorrow I start back on The Blood Type Diet, which I has success with before, to try and lose some weight and work on leading a healthier lifestyle. I will miss seeing you all on the road, but who knows what will come in 2013. I wish you all great health, love, peace and great success in 2013! Cabaret stars doing a Joni revue, in a gorgeous new venue in Manhattan, located below historic Studio 54. Dinner and the show is only $35! Haven't been to NYC in way too long; of course after 8 months in Beijing it may seem like a little villa. Anyway, the more the merrier, big applers. Anyone who wants to join, please do! The CSI connection continues. We've heard on this list that both Marg Helgenberger and Emily Proctor attended parties at Joni's house. Very cool! Here's the next one in the nest - Volume 158, chock full of joyful noises for you. Starts off with a brilliant guitar duo of Edith & The Kingpin that just slays me. Also features NINE tracks by Sydney Australia's Marguerite Montes, live concert, most of which is well worth hearing - she even throws "Judgement" & "Richard" into the mix - double points! The Jan Maddron is an old 45, so the sound is terrible and scratchy. Sorry about that. Get em: http://tinyurl.com/Covers158 Dig em: 1. Tim Rose and Andy Philip - Edith and The Kingpin 2. Rachael Schoellen - River 3. Marguerite Montes - Both Sides Now 4. Marguerite Montes - For Free 5. Marguerite Montes - Rainy Night House 6. Marguerite Montes - Woodstock 7. Verd i Blau - Both Sides Now 8. Liz Longley - River 9. Marguerite Montes - This Flight Tonight 10. Marguerite Montes - Little Green 11. Wayne Hawkins, Karyn Quinn & Todd Strait - Both Sides Now 12. Marguerite Montes - A Case Of You 13. Marguerite Montes - Blue 14. Marguerite Montes - The Last Time I Saw Richard 15. Richard Gilewitz - Both Sides Now 16. Marguerite Montes - Judgement Of The Moon And Stars 17. Wychfolk - The Circle Game 18. Randi Fay - River 19. Jan Maddron - Both Sides Now 19 songs, 19 hits! Enjoy.
