The seasons go round and round indeed. And the Joni covers keep coming and coming as well. Here is another NEW batch for ya, volume 156, with some really cool stuff on it. A varied assortment of tunes from various sources. A shout out to my bud Paul for his help. MY favorite has to be the Gren Bartley track - he sounds sorta like Don McLean but what's really cool about it is the substitution of the guitar for the piano, even picking out the intro part. A playful acapella Case Of You, a heavy dirgy Woodstock...anyway, here it is if you want to check it out: Bah: http://tinyurl.com/cecnjzr Humbug: 1. The DuO - Both Sides Now 2. Your favorite is the same as mine. Gren Bartley does sound like Don McLean, such a beautiful voice singing "Last Time I Saw Richard". I also loved The DuO from Brazil playing BSN on the guitars. I also liked the rugged voice of the Portuguese singer Paulo Gonzo singing "How Do You Stop". I googled him, and it seems he's very popular in his country. The heavy metal from My Father's Hammer doing "Woodstock" sucked!, as well as the German, Moishe Lichtfuss's horrible attempt at ACOY. That's just wrong!!!!, but still it's a cover and I always enjoy listening to anyone's attempt at Joni's music. Thanks again covers king!
