Well written, David. Looks like the role isn't confirmed anyhow. She sure is milking it though. http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/taylor-swift-joni-mitchell-biopic-rol e-not-confirmed-20121022 There is other Joni news. Graham Nash wrote a book in which he speaks of his experience with her. http://www.showbiz411.com/2012/11/15/graham-nash-listening-to-joni-mitchells- blue-is-quite-difficult-for-me-personally Shari On Nov 20, 2012, at 7:01 AM, Susan Tierney McNamara wrote: > I see this photo shoot as Taylor dressed in what the fashion industry thinks is the retro 70s look ... especially the shot where she is leaning on the chair in the dark beige wide leg creased pants. I will say that it sounds like a rather daunting project to create a triple-bio film. Hard to believe that any of the three fan bases (much less all of them) will end up fully satisfied. Which is exactly what those durned younger people do! I can sort of remember my Dad getting annoyed, particularly in anything dealing with WWII, by how his generation (The Greatest) was sometimes portrayed in "modern" movies or TV shows - I mean, the ones made in the 60s and 70s. Let's face it - - like it or not, we're the old people now. I agree Bob and that was my main complaint about the book. I really thought that it bit off more than it could chew leaving the reader dissatisfied all the way round. Not enough on any of the artists concerned, making for a somewhat thin telling. I imagine that the film will be a horror and wonder what level of cooperation (if any) is involved with said artists. Do they have to agree to be portrayed in such a way? Wonder if Joni has anything to say about any of it.
