I still have to post my Midway video, and I'm ready to start my video of The Gallery, but I Don't Know Where I Stand is on deck. One of her most beautiful tunings, which is also a variation on the Michael From Mountains, tuning FFCGAC, she has said that she uses some of the strings as the trumpet section and top strings as violins. The interlude is haunting and really conjures the mood of new love. Genius, genius, genius. Do I sound like a broken record? Another song in this tuning, Go Tell The Drummer Man. The run in this song is so hard to play! I can hear other instruments as well, like maybe an oboe. All she had was her voice & she overdubbed it a lot. That is what I like about her music, makes it stand out - but to think she was thinking of instrumentals, that is awesome.
