HA HA HA! Release, Recover, Extend to Flat Back, Contract!!!> Kind of hard not to get a chuckle out of it...it's from an instructional dance CD called "Basic Jazz Techniques". http://tinyurl.com/72uco8b They use they rhythm of "I Don't Know Where I Stand" to teach a basic Plie. Everytime I hear it I imagine Patrick doing plies to a Joni track. Dennis Buck plays the full piano version of the song on the same CD - that track was included on Volume 66. Thanks for the listen, Sue! I'll be posting a BRAND NEW volume this weekend. Still trying to get caught up and they keep coming at me, up to my neck in alligators as Joni says. I keep Shine always in my rotation. No one has failed to mention "that sounds really nice" whenever it comes on. Joni just knows how to hit the sweet spot in the zeitgeist, imho, whenever she puts something out. I really hope Shine was not her last, but I feel good knowing so many people like her music as I drive down the country roads. If I get someone a little cranky & complaining, I put on Tom Waits & turn the volume up a little. They don't know what to make of it & stop complaining & try to make sense of his lyrics. Never fails.
