And, even then, it's complicated. Joni has just had a miscarriage when Klein was booked to work in England so was committed to that contract while needing to be with Joni but couldn't get out of it. I've been trying to pin down the dates for this to make it right in my head, as the article I read it in seemed to infer that it was while recording at Peter Gabriel's studios (so around the CMIARS time?); though they divorced in/around 1993/4 but maybe he'd had various engagements at Peter's studio. It feels icky for me to be discussing this very private topic but I'm only responding to what I've read in an article. It must've been a tricky time for both of them. The list is so quiet just now. Every time I sign in of late there's been not much if anything from anyone. I've got nothing to say actually. Sorry for my silly Joni the Prophet thingy. It got the response it deserved from our intelligent little community. some days are odd ones and it's rubbish that comes out. So Joni was going to be in Milan for a very brief moment and there's been mention of a concert on HOSL too I seem to remember. Maybe I don't get all the emails. For all I know you could all be blethering away quite nicely. Anyway just to say Hi and somehow you all are a part of my life...Thanks to MsMitchell.xxGerry. Police were called though no charges filed. It damaged the relationship and apparently hasn't been the same since. Idk, guess I'm just missing Joni's involvement in music scene and missing new music from her. Certainly respect her right to retire and hope she is well and happy. Her parents are dead, her relationship with Kilauren is rocky (last I heard), and I don't know if Kilauren now allows Joni access to Marlin and Daisy. From what I've read, Joni also seems to be a fun loving person who loves to laugh. But I agree with the current curmudgeonly attitude. > Do ya'll think Joni could be depressed? The withdrawal from people, health struggles, loss of interest in what was once pleasurable ( i.e. her music, although apparently not her art), loss of her parents, rocky relationship with Kauren. Makes me wonder and worry. >> >> Sent from my iPhone ------------------------------ End of onlyJMDL Digest V2012 #180 ********************************* ------- Post messages to the list by clicking here:mailto:joni@smoe.org Unsubscribe by clicking here: mailto:onlyjoni-digest-request@smoe.org?body=unsubscribe
