Even if those identifications are wrong, I think it's very safe to say that the "you" is male. I was a snatched child, taken while my mother lay drugged, getting by with only a baptismal certificate until I was 17. I was never legally adopted. Here in the US, Dan Rather did a show awhile ago. I couldn't watch it. i was working. http://news.yahoo.com/abducted-generations-.html . my mother paid $800 to stay in a maternity home where her visitors were screened, worked in the basement kitchen, or other did duties like laundry for the whole place. This was in the 50's. I am lucky. i found my birth father in 96 and liked him. my bio mother had passed. It turns out that they'd had a 2 year affair. Even though my dad contributed to the cost of the home, he kept saying he didn't know, shaking his head, "he didn't know." he did know i loved him anyway. men got off easy. after all, "he's a man". The thought back then was these wanton girls/woman were unfit. They sure as hell had a hard time making good money back then. It's so interesting. After the pill became popular, and the social movement of women's lib flourished, things changed. Now, many perceive young, highly sexed women as having healthy, zesty appetites. things have so changed I am glad Joni and kilauren found one another, but it is hard for the child to understand. i hope they have a long and loving relationship.
