I toe tread all the time, of course! I've been interviewing and talking radical feminism all day so, dear Catherine, Kookie Comb Lender was just what I needed. And Bob intonates it's your birthday! We had a fun thread about the show on JMDL Facebook a couple months ago. It was a fave of lots of us from the era. Now I have the old theme song earworming in my head LOL. Maybe you're having a bad day, but just because a question about 77 Sunset Strip may not interest you, there's no need to describe a person's interest as 'stupid.' If I am not interested I simply hit delete. I struggle with posts like yours, which strikes me as unneccesarily intolerant and rude. Successful in any event, and kudos for Catherine (the birthday girl) for adding some additional Joni content. As we've proven time and again, ALL things connect to Joni in one way or another. My sister used to SWEAR that Joni appeared on the Smothers Brothers show, which would have certainly worked out time wise but did not happen. Jennifer Warnes performed "Chelsea Morning" on an episode and Joni and the Brothers performed on the same bill at a benefit in 1972. I always thought Joni should have appeared on the Mike Douglas Show but she didn't. Meanwhile, she DID appear on the Tom Jones Show and Joey Bishop's which doesn't seem as likely. If you haven't read through the amazing Chronology on the website it is a fascinating history of Joni's appearances. http://jonimitchell.com/chronology/ Bob NP: Bright Eyes, "Lua" - ------------------------------------------------------------ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain proprietary, business-confidential and/or privileged material.
